When is the inspection mandatory?

The inspection is mandatory four years after initial registration and every two years thereafter. Failure to meet these deadlines may result in administrative fines and vehicle suspension. We offer support to remind you of the deadlines and schedule an appointment in advance.

What does the review consist of?

The inspection includes a complete check of the main safety systems: brakes, electrical system, suspension, pollutant emissions, engine efficiency, and body integrity. At the end of the inspection, if all parameters are compliant, the inspection certificate will be added to the vehicle registration document, certifying the vehicle’s compliance.

What happens if the inspection fails?

If your vehicle fails the inspection due to anomalies or technical problems, we’ll immediately inform you of the causes and the necessary actions to resolve them. Once the repairs are completed, you can proceed with a new inspection to ensure your vehicle is fully compliant.

How long does a vehicle inspection take?

The inspection typically takes 30 to 60 minutes. However, if any issues are discovered during the inspection, the time may increase. Our team will provide you with an accurate time estimate to best arrange the pickup.
